There is #NothingScarier than Fright Fest® at Six Flags Over Georgia! The Thrill Capital of the South is hiring hundreds of ‘Scare Actors’ for the biggest and scariest Fright Fest ever. Approximately 400 Fright Fest team members will be needed to turn the theme park into a scream park – that’s a 33-percent increase over the number of employees hired last fall.
New in 2015, Six Flags Over Georgia is introducing 12 new blood-curdling scare zones – frightfully themed sections of the park – guaranteed to turn up the fear factor. The list of new scare zones includes:
· ZMB, an interactive behind-the-scenes view of the horror giving guests the opportunity to become a ‘Scare Actor’ and terrorize their friends;
· The Mourning, where ceremonial chants of buried souls can be heard throughout the night as guests enter the park;
· Big Top Terror, a different type of circus as a Wicked Ringmaster draws in onlookers with his hypnotic voice and terrifying gaze, along with nine additional petrifying zones.
The park will also debut five haunted mazes and four live shows. Fright Fest begins each night at 6 p.m., as throngs of monsters, zombies and other scare actors are released into the terror and fog-filled night of fright at the “The Uprising” show outside of the historic Crystal Pistol Music Hall.
The park will host an upcoming Fright Fest casting call for scare actors, dancers and other entertainers, which will be held:
- Saturday, July 26: Singers and Dancers registration at 10 a.m.; Scare Actors, Specialty Actors and Make-Up Artists registration at 3 p.m. at Jeannie T. Anderson Theatre at Cobb Civic Center, located at 548 S. Marietta Parkway SE, Marietta, GA 30060
Additional casing call dates will be announced in the coming weeks. Interested individuals must be at least 16 years of age or older and should apply online atsixflagsjobs.com to be considered. Technicians, wardrobe assistants, stage managers and candidates who are unable to attend the casting calls may submit an audition tape and resume toSFOGcasting@sixflags.com.
